    • THREE 1 Minute Typing Test (www.typingtest.com) - you should have a minimum of 15 on your spreadsheet

Bellwork: Open your Slide Revision Practice assignment and begin looking at the comments on each slide.

Class Objectives:
  • Revise slides using the design principles

Today's Agenda:
  • Slide Revision Practice (Slideshow)
    • Comments
      • Limited Text - You need to reduce the amount of text on your slides.  You may also need to get rid of complete sentences and repeated words.
      • Images - Your images are not acceptable or were not included
      • Contrast - Your slide is hard to read because the colors are too similar
      • Balance - The placement of your text and images need to be redone
      • Unity - You have too many font colors, font sizes, font styles, etc.
    • Revise AND RESUBMIT!!!

You will have a sub in class today.  Please read the instructions below and complete ALL the activities.

1) Go to www.typingtest.com and take THREE 1-minute typing tests.

2) Record those typing tests in your Google Spreadsheet.  After these 3 exams, you should have at least 15 typing tests recording in your spreadsheet.

3) Go to www.typingclub.com and spend the rest of the period typing.

Tuesday, February 25th - Wednesday, February 26th

Bellwork: Open the Design Principles Notesheet.  Find the limited text row and fill in the notes based on what we already talked about.

Class Objectives:
  • Discuss design principles
  • Revise slides using the design principles

Today's Agenda:
  • Design Principles Notesheet
  • Slide Revision Practice (Slideshow)
  • Original Slides (for reference)
    • Revise each slide so that it follows the "Limited Text" rule
    • Add quality images to each slide
    • Make sure each slide is balanced
    • Make sure each slide has contrast
    • Make sure the entire presentation (ALL slides) have consistency
    • SUBMIT BY THE END OF THE PERIOD TODAY
      • Then work on missing assignments & the extra credit
